When Dan Davis, a 59-year-old suburban Chicago dad, disappeared in November 2025, his daughter Wendy Davis shared his story on social media, hoping he would return. Dan Davis was in a car accident on November 24. After refusing medical treatment, a police officer drove him to his long-time place of employment, 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. Video surveillance caught Dan Davis stumbling on a curb, which led his daughter to worry her father had suffered a stroke.
Wendy Davis diligently posted on TikTok and maintained the Find Dan Davis Facebook group, but the family’s story didn’t have a happy ending. On March 9, 2026, police found him deceased, leaving his daughter heartbroken.
Dan Davis did not appear impaired at the time of his accident.
