Springfield Community Gardens receives $959,000 federal grant to connect Missouri food hubs

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Springfield Community Gardens has received a $959,000 federal grant to fund a project that aims to connect food hubs across Missouri and address food insecurity.

The grant will fund Fresh Links, a project linking food hubs in Springfield, Kansas City, and St. Louis. The program will train local farmers to bundle and ship their products to reach larger markets.
