WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – One of Wichita’s most popular traditions is returning to the Delano District this weekend. The Delano St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set for Saturday, March 14, bringing thousands of people to the historic neighborhood for a day full of festivities.
Organizers expect around 30,000 attendees to pack the streets of Delano for the annual celebration, which has become one of the district’s most iconic events. Local businesses and restaurants throughout Delano will be opening early to welcome visitors before the parade begins. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and claim a spot along the parade route before the crowds build by midday. In addition to the parade itself, the event will feature several family-friendly and entertainment areas throughout the district.
