DUNBAR, W.Va. (WOWK) — SSG Tyrone Bovorn Ramiscal Lamyaithong was laid to rest at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, surrounded by friends, family, and fellow soldiers.
Lamyaithong, or “Lam” as his friends called him, was killed in action on Jan. 19 while fighting in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. He was 33 years old.
Lam’s life was dedicated to service. He spent over 12 years in the West Virginia National Guard, serving in the artillery, before discharging to volunteer for the Ukrainian Armed Forces…
