Sioux Falls, South Dakota – Travel across eastern South Dakota could become nearly impossible by early Sunday as a powerful winter storm drops more than a foot of snow and unleashes winds strong enough to create blizzard conditions.
According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, snow will begin early Saturday with lighter bands before intensifying Saturday night and continuing through Sunday.
