Deadly Draper shooting marks Utah’s fourth officer-involved critical incident this year

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) β€” A Riverton police officer was placed on paid administrative leave following a fatal officer-involved shooting in Draper, marking the fourth officer-involved critical incident in Utah this year.

Riverton police confirmed the officer remains on leave with full pay and benefits while the investigation continues. In Salt Lake County, multi-agency officer-involved critical incident teams conduct those investigations.
