Eastern Washington Weather Alert: 5 Inches of Snow Slows Spokane Commute Until Noon Friday

Spokane, Washington – Snow-covered roads and reduced visibility are slowing the Friday morning commute across eastern Washington and parts of north Idaho as a winter system drops several inches of fresh snow across the Inland Northwest.

According to the National Weather Service in Spokane, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon Friday for the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas, including Spokane Valley, Cheney, Post Falls, and Airway Heights.
