LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County School District Police Chief Henry “Mike” Blackeye has announced his retirement, the district says.
Blackeye told Superintendent Jhone Ebert that he is retiring at the end of the 2025-26 school year. According to a media release, he has served the district for more than 23 years.
The district says he joined the police department in 2003 as a school police officer assigned to a middle school and rose through the ranks. He became the interim police chief in 2020 and officially took over the position in 2022…
