Spokane, Washington – Drivers across eastern Washington could encounter dangerous crosswinds and falling debris Thursday morning as powerful wind gusts sweep through the region, strong enough to knock down tree limbs and trigger scattered power outages.

According to the National Weather Service in Spokane, sustained winds between 20 and 30 mph will combine with gusts reaching 40 to 50 mph, with localized gusts near 60 mph possible during the morning hours.
