1 injured, 2 displaced after Beaverton apartment fire

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people were displaced and one was injured after a Beaverton apartment fire happened on Thursday afternoon.

Just after 3:45 p.m., Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue said multiple people called 911 to report heavy smoke coming out of a building on Southwest Iron Horse Lane.

The column of black smoke came billowing out of the building as firefighters approached, the flames licking the sky through a window on the second floor.

An injured person was found on the scene, who was treated by first-responders immediately, then taken to a hospital…
