ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Thursday, March 12, 2026, would have been Ashley Johnson-Barr’s 18th birthday.
At 10 years old, Johnson-Barr was murdered by Peter Vance Wilson, a relative of hers. Wilson was ultimately sentenced to 99 years in prison in 2021. Wilson remains in prison and is scheduled to be released in February 2104.
