ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Eric Frazier, an Albany man who attacked police officers with a knife in 2022, has been sentenced. According to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, Frazier was sentenced to 17 years in prison, with five years of post-release supervision.

On June 20, 2022, Albany Police responded to Franklin Street after receiving a report of a physical fight between Frazier and his former partner. While running a background check on Frazier, police determined that he had an open arrest warrant for a prior domestic assault.
When police tried to take him into custody, he reportedly took out a knife and slashed an Albany officer in the arm, severely injuring the officer, and attempted to stab another officer in the chest…
