March 12, 2026 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on March 9, 2026, deputies with the Metro Patrol Division, along with members of Kern County Code Compliance, Kern County Mental Health, and Flood Ministries, conducted direct enforcement in the Oildale area of Bakersfield, California.
During the operation, eight felony and six misdemeanor arrests were made. Deputies assisted Kern County Code Compliance by removing waste and debris from the area.
