CAPE CORAL, Florida — A Cape Coral man was arrested after allegedly fabricating a robbery story to cover up a hit-and-run incident, police say.
On March 12, 2026, Cape Coral Police Officers responded to a McDonald’s at 2541 Del Prado Blvd N., following a report of a past-occurred robbery. The caller, identified as 28-year-old Juan David Robelto, of Cape Coral, Florida, claimed he was attacked and robbed the previous evening while driving home from work.
