Detroit, Michigan – While much of the western United States prepares for near-summer heat, Michigan will remain close to typical mid-March conditions this week, offering a more moderate start to spring across the Great Lakes region.
According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, the large-scale weather pattern developing Wednesday through Sunday, March 18–22, favors extreme warmth across California, the Southwest and parts of the Rockies, where temperatures could approach 100°F.
