Construction of a new apartment complex off one of Winter Haven’s busiest intersections has local residents raising concerns about future traffic safety.
Winter Haven officials gave a presentation March 9 about the new Spring Lake Apartments, a 168-unit apartment complex being built on undeveloped land south of the Spring Lake Square. It’s left residents pointing out traffic concerns at the nearby intersection of Havendale Boulevard/MLK Boulevard and U.S.17.
