DELHI, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – A South Carolina man will spend the next three years in New York State prison after threatening his girlfriend with a loaded firearm.
Delaware County District Attorney Shawn Smith announced that Connor Steidle, 21, of Little River, South Carolina, appeared in Delaware County Court on March 10. He pleaded guilty to Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class D Violent Felony.
On December 12, 2025, the Village of Sidney Police Department and New York State Police responded to a 911 call from Steidle’s girlfriend, reporting that he had threatened her with a loaded pistol.
