STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A California man attempted to extort the owners of a $45 million Sailfish Point home in Martin County by filing a fraudulent legal claim, prompting a white-collar investigation.
According to MCSO, Kevin Lewis Walker submitted a $45 million offer on a luxury home in Sailfish Point. Deputies say that through a series of questionable email tactics, the listing was taken down while the property owners began investigating the offer’s legitimacy.
