The North Carolina Utilities Commission has scheduled a public witness hearing for March 30, 2026, on Duke Energy Progress’ request to increase electric rates and implement performance-based regulation.
The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. in Hearing Room 2115 of the Dobbs Building, 430 N. Salisbury St. in Raleigh, as part of Docket No. E-2, Sub 1380.
Duke Energy Progress filed its application in November 2025 seeking authority to adjust and increase retail electric rates in North Carolina and adopt a multi-year rate plan.
