Chick-fil-A expanding into Southern Tier

Chick-fil-A plans to open its first restaurants in New York’s Southern Tier as part of a broader expansion across the state, according to the Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin.

Two locations are planned for the Binghamton area — one at Oakdale Commons in Johnson City and another at Town Square Mall in Vestal. Both are expected to open between 2026 and 2027.

The company also announced new restaurants in Penfield and Victor near Rochester, along with two more in the Capital Region. Chick-fil-A says the six new locations will create more than 600 jobs across Upstate New York…
