Mill Valley Teacher Yanked From Class Over Alleged Violent Social Posts

A Mill Valley Middle School world languages teacher has been pulled from the classroom and placed on administrative leave after a parent complained about the instructor’s social media activity, prompting a district investigation and rattling some families who say students were left feeling unsafe and emotionally unsettled.

The teacher, identified in coverage as Adel Ben-Chaira, was removed from classroom duties after a parent complaint alleged that the posts “explicitly advocate violence, promote harmful conspiracy theories and target protected groups,” arguing that the content threatened students’ emotional safety, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
