East Syracuse, N.Y. — Hercules Candy Company is recalling a batch of its Dark Chocolate Covered Blue Raspberry Cream Eggs because the product may contain undeclared peanut butter, the company said Friday.
The recall affects a small number of products that were mislabeled as blue raspberry cream eggs but may actually contain peanut butter cream. People with peanut allergies could face a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the product, the company said.
