LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — An Oscar-nominated documentary is honoring the life and work of Little Rock filmmaker Brent Renaud, who was killed in 2022 while reporting on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The HBO Original Documentary Short “Armed Only With a Camera: The Life and Death of Brent Renaud” tells the story of Renaud’s decades-long career documenting people caught in the middle of conflicts around the world. The film was directed by his brother and long-time collaborator, Craig Renaud.
