North Plano’s caffeine game is about to get a serious upgrade. Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. is preparing to open a new shop at 4980 Broadway Drive, serving traditional Yemeni brews alongside specialty lattes, refreshers and a lineup of pastries and desserts. The company says a soft opening is on deck as soon as final inspections and approvals clear.

According to Community Impact, a company representative said the shop is preparing for a soft opening “very soon, pending final inspections and approvals.” The representative noted that many of the drinks lean on traditional flavors and spices such as cardamom, saffron and ginger.
