Archers from Washington High School, Washington Middle School, and Lincoln Elementary lined up last Saturday in Springville, with several archers picking up solid results.
Washington High School placed third out of four teams after shooting a 3274 in the bullseye competition. Zach Hotchkiss was the top performer for the boys, taking second after recording a personal best 292 with 23 tens. Hunter Barnes was right behind him, also picking up a personal best 291 with 21 tens. Killian Ribble also reached the top ten, placing ninth and shooting a 280 and 13 tens. Hailey Curtis was the top performer for the girls, taking 12th among all girls with a 271 and 6 tens.
In the 3D competition, Washington placed second out of four teams with a 1655. Hotchkiss placed second, again leading the boys with a 289 and 22 tens, another personal best. Barnes also finished with a 289, but took third after recording 20 tens. Braydon Clough also finished within the top ten, taking eighth with a 275 and 14 tens.
