UPDATE: The Storm Prediction Center has now upgraded the severe weather threat for Sunday to an Enhanced Risk for part of the Metro East Region. More details will be released tomorrow as the forecast and threats comes into focus.
Another round of storms is possible this weekend as a potent system is set to bring a line of thunderstorms to the Mississippi and Ohio River valleys.
The Metro East region is under a Day 3 slight risk (2 out of 5) for severe weather as a line of storms is expected to bring damaging winds to the region on Sunday, March 15. There is also a Cig-1 intensity risk, meaning that there is a chance for significant severe weather with this setup for the eastern portion of Metro East.
