More than two years after a 40-year-old man was shot and killed in Pueblo, a suspect has been arrested and charged with murder. That suspect, Adrian Pacheco, is already in jail in Larimer County on suspicion of another homicide that allegedly took place in March 2024.
Pacheco, 33, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Daniel Smith, who was shot and killed in Pueblo in the early morning hours of New Year’s Eve in 2023, according to a Pueblo Police Department news release.
