MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office reports a man considered to be “armed and dangerous” is in custody after a shooting on Friday.
Deputies said they were searching for 56-year-old James Lee McKinney Jr.
Deputies reported he was last seen driving a green 2002 GMC Yukon with license plate VEL2559 before he was taken into custody.
