SHIPPENSBURG- A man from Chambersburg has been denied bail after being charged with over a half dozen crimes in Cumberland County. Christian Edward Robey was denied bail by MDJ Daniel J Freedman after he was charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor terroristic threats, misdemeanor stalking, misdemeanor criminal trespassing, misdemeanor loitering and prowling at night, misdemeanor criminal mischief, and citations for disorderly conduct and harassment. He remains incarcerated in the Cumberland County Prison.
Around 1am on March 12th, Pennsylvania State Police were called to a domestic incident in Shippensburg Borough and say that the victim’s ex-boyfriend, Christian Robey, was trying to gain entry to her home. Police say that an argument occurred between Robey and the victim before he was told to leave. About 40 minutes later, he would reportedly be found in a nearby neighbor’s yard, inside of the fence, and only left after 911 was called. This same incident, police say, occurred multiple times since they had separated two weeks prior. A canvass of the area was conducted by police but Robey wasn’t found.
Around two hours after the first call, Troopers say that they received a call stating that Robey was back on the property, which reportedly escalated to him yelling at the victim’s family in the street. By the time police arrived, they say they were unable to find Robey again…
