Judy Prichard McCleary came to the Delaware County Courthouse on Friday because, she said, she “wanted to make sure justice was done” in the criminal case against Jonathan Gerlach.
Gerlach, 34, of Ephrata, was scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing on nearly 500 criminal charges related to the theft of human remains from Mount Moriah Cemetery & Arboretum.
The cemetery spans southwest Philadelphia and Yeadon, a borough in Delaware County. McCleary’s great-great grandfather built one of the mausoleums that was broken into and her great-great aunt’s remains were taken, she said…
