A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a Santa Rosa police officer shot him during a Thursday morning confrontation, police said.
Around 11:16 a.m., the Santa Rosa Police Department said an officer responded to a report of an “unwanted/suspicious individual” near the 300 block of 10th Street. The residential area is a few blocks away from downtown Santa Rosa.
