Savannah Irish Podcast keeps city’s Irish heritage, history alive year-round

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A local podcast is working to keep Savannah’s Irish story going beyond St. Patrick’s Day, drawing listeners from across the Southeast and as far as the Emerald Isle.

The Savannah Irish Podcast, produced by Dee Daniels Media, has been running for three years. Co-founder Megan Mason said the show operates out of a mobile studio and has reached thousands of listeners.

From a few questions to a growing audience

Host Tara Reese, a member of the Savannah Irish Festival committee, said the podcast grew out of a simple question.
