TULLY, NY – Karen Gorman Jan said last week that her family’s roots run deep into the soil at her late parents’ 24.62-acre property at 55 Clinton Street just outside of the town of Tully.
Her mother, Mary Liz, grew up just down the street. Her uncle moved in when the house was finished in 1950 and he sold it to his sister’s family five years later.
It was where Karen and her six siblings grew up. The property was, she said “the backdrop of our childhood.”…
