Woods McCue was only 9 years old when he watched James Conrad throw in a 247-foot miracle shot to force a playoff—that he would eventually win—against one of the game’s greatest, Paul McBeth, at the Professional Disc Golf World Championship in 2021.
Woods, now 14 and still in middle school, will face off against both Conrad and McBeth and a handful of other former PDGA World Champions in the inaugural Disc Golf Pro Tour’s MVP Big Easy Open March 13-15 in New Orleans.
