EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Chihuahuas unveiled a new Copa de la Diversión identity, one of the “most recognizable and meaningful cultural traditions of the Paso del Norte region.”
For some games, the Chihuahuas will be the El Paso Matachines, which celebrate the centuries-old ceremonial dance tradition found in the Southwest U.S. and Northern Mexico, according to a news release by the Chihuahuas.
