LUBBOCK, Texas — Nicholas James Westbrook was sentenced to 13 years (160 months) in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine for his involvement in a drug trafficking ring.
Court records indicated that Westbrook intentionally distributed 50 grams or more, but less than 500 grams of methamphetamine. In April 2025, narcotics and Lubbock authorities were surveilling his residence under the impression that Westbrook was selling narcotics. When Westbrook committed a traffic violation, officers attempted to stop him for the violation, but Westbrook led officers in a pursuit. Officers eventually caught him and placed him under arrest.
