SHREVEPORT, LA (KTAL/KMSS) – Calvary Baptist will return to the state championship game after defeating De La Salle in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division III (Select) semi-finals. The top-seeded Cavaliers are scheduled to face Metairie Park Country Day on March 14 at 12 p.m. for the state title.
This appearance marks the program’s sixth trip to the finals in seven seasons. Despite their consistent post-season success, the Cavaliers are still pursuing their first state championship. The team enters the title match following a regular season where they finished with a 22-2 record, according to LHSAA’s Website.
