Police in Eugene, Oregon arrested two men during separate late-night incidents involving weapons, according to the Eugene Police Department.
First incident involves armed, intoxicated suspect
Officers responded around 10:53 p.m. on March 11 to the 3600 block of Westward Ho Avenue after receiving reports of a man allegedly threatening others with a handgun.
Police identified the suspect as Desean Lecurtis Lemond Oroy, 25. Authorities said Oroy, who was reportedly intoxicated, fled the area in a Chevrolet Malibu before officers located and stopped the vehicle.
Officials said he became confrontational during the encounter but was eventually taken into custody. Oroy now faces charges including menacing, unlawful use of a weapon and driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII).
