NORTH PORT — Denise Amber Lee’s family and others are preparing for the execution of Michael King.
At 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, King is scheduled to die as punishment for the kidnap, rape and murder of Lee nearly 20 years ago. He will be put to death by lethal injection at Florida State Prison’s execution chamber near Raiford.
