The chance of tornadoes and other violent storms grew for Charlotte, Rock Hill and Hickory on Saturday, with those cities having the “highest chance of severe hazards” in the Western Carolinas on Monday, National Weather Service meteorologists said.
The cities are under an “enhanced risk” of “numerous severe thunderstorms” between 6 and 10 a.m., NWS forecasters said on social media.
