Last second goal dooms Komets in 2-1 loss at Indy Fuel

FISHERS, Ind. (WANE) – Another last-second goal cost the Komets at least one point in the Central Division standings with Friday’s 2-1 loss at the Indy Fuel.

Tyler Weiss buried a go-ahead score with 12 seconds left to help the Fuel complete a comeback win over Fort Wayne. Indy scored twice in the third period after trailing 1-0 at the second intermission.

The Komets scored their only goal of the night on a breakaway opportunity from Matthew Brown. The forward buried a bullseye between the faceoff circles to give the Komets a 1-0 lead at 12:21 of the second period…
