HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) – The hosting Huntington Foresters suffered a quick exit in the first round of the NAIA Tournament with a 62-58 loss to 14-seed Bellevue on Friday at Platt Arena.
Leading 30-26 at halftime, Huntington surrendered a 12-0 run early in the second half to trail 41-35 with 15:23 remaining. Bellevue ballooned the lead to 16 points, holding a 56-40 advantage with 11:36 left. Huntington held the Bruins to six points for the rest of the game, but the deficit was too big to overcome.
Kaden Johnson led the Foresters with 22 points and eight rebounds in the loss. Miles Good and Keylane Lasisi also finished in double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively…
