LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Congressman Robert Aderholt has announced a $1 million grant that aims to help workforce training in Lauderdale County.
Aderholt’s office said the grant was awarded to the Limestone County Commission by the Appalachian Regional Commission. The grant will help the commission purchase and install workforce training equipment at the Lauderdale County Workforce Training Center, which is nearing completion.

The center aims to provide training and certification programs for welding, mechatronics, aircraft maintenance, power generation system maintenance, and machine tool technology.
