HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville Animal Services says it just took in 34 cats in one day, and now it says those cats need a good home.
HAS said on Friday that it took in 34 cats from a single residence in the community. Despite the large intake, the animal shelter said it is still only at level one cat capacity, but in hopes of staying at a safe capacity, the shelter said these cats still need a home.

Animal services said the intake of the 34 kitties went smoothly, and all the cats are safe and settling in. HAS said it hopes to schedule each of the animals for sterilizations and medical workups to ensure they are safe and ready to find a new home.
