Georgia woman charged with attempted first-degree murder in Knoxville stabbing, report says

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Georgia woman has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after a stabbing in Knoxville on Tuesday.

According to court documents obtained by WVLT News, police responded to a parking lot in the 2000 block of Bethel Ave. for reports of a stabbing. When they got there, they found the victim in a car with a stab wound to the middle of her back.

Records said when officers asked her about what happened, the victim told them she was sitting on a bench when a woman, identified as Michelle Martin, told her that she wasn’t allowed to sit there…
