A late-night DoorDash run in the Raleigh neighborhood of Memphis turned terrifying when a delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint and had his car stolen, according to police. After the suspects sped away in his vehicle, the shaken driver walked to a nearby Valero gas station to call for help, and officers responded to the scene.
How the robbery unfolded
Memphis police say the driver was making an overnight delivery when a suspect confronted him, pointed a gun at his head and demanded, “Everything you got.” The victim handed over about $300 in cash, his cellphone and the keys to a black Buick sedan before the suspects took off in the car.
