MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WRBL) — Two additional men have been sentenced in a mail theft and bank fraud conspiracy involving four defendants.
Twenty-seven-year-old, Joseph Deshun Sheppard, Jr., of Montgomery, Alabama, was sentenced to 24 months in prison on March 3, 2026. Twenty-four-year-old Tra’von Charles Rogers, of Prattville, Alabama, was also sentenced to 24 months in federal prison two days later on March 5, 2026.
The United States Attorney’s Office says both men pleaded guilty to the mail theft and brank fraud conspiracy. Following their 24-month sentence, Rogers and Sheppard will both serve three years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system…
