Nashville man arrested after off-duty Mt. Juliet police officer spots stolen car at park

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Nashville man was arrested Saturday after an off-duty Mt. Juliet police officer spotted a stolen car at a local park.

According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department, an off-duty officer noticed a suspicious person at Charlie Daniels Park and contacted on-duty officers to investigate.

During the investigation, MJPD said officers discovered that the vehicle the suspicious person had exited had a fraudulent license plate that had been reported stolen from Nashville in March 2025…
