STUART, Fla. (WFLA) — A reckless driver was apprehended after leading deputies on a late-night chase down a Florida road, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that 37-year-old Joshua Philip Thebeau was driving a white BMW at a high speed southbound on U.S. 1 near Britt Road when Deputies noticed him.
Deputies attempted a traffic stop, but Thebeau accelerated, forcing them to briefly pursue him before stopping for the sake of surrounding motorists’ safety…
