The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that nighttime lane closures have been scheduled related to ongoing construction for the new Jimmie Davis Bridge (LA 511) project over the Red River in Caddo and Bossier Parishes.
These lane closures will take place over the existing bridge beginning on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. nightly for approximately 2 months, weather permitting.
